HIGH SCUM ALERT ⚠️ One of the worst experiences ever. Pure crocks. I have reserved a car through Rentalcars.com, I have landed at @01:00 in Bacau Romania and I have been picked up by the agent from the airport. He drove me to a car park where from the start he presented me with a lower class vehicle. As it was late and I was tired I don't mid that and just wanted to get the car and drive to my destination, but in a very short time I realused the scam/fraud I was exposed to. The nightmare started with being told that my card wasn't good to be accepted. The very same card I always use to rent cars across all Europe. The guy named Alex told me that because my card wasn't embossed he cannot hire me the car and I have been left in the middle of the night without a mean of transport. I have called my bank in England the following day and asked about and I have been told that, banks across Europe main land stopped to issue embossed cards since 2020 and that technique was replaced by a laser encryption. SO BE CAREFUL IF YOU'RE RENTING FROM THIS SCUM BAGS AS YOU WILL BE LEFT ROAD SIDE. While I was discussing the reason he refused to give me the vehicle he stated that I can buy his insurance of 400 euros with the same card. I called back the next day trying to lig a complaint and the same person tild me to stick my credit card up my back passage and then go and hang my self. SO AGAIN BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN SIGNING UP. I will report this to the police once back home and to the fraud department. Very sad experience. If I could I would have given them a 0 as 1 star is still to high. IV date of experience 22/10/2025.

Stay away, scam alert! "59 minutes cancelation" trick, cost me another 500 euro.

Professional services and very nice staff. We had a Skoda Rapid, quality / price very good. We took the full cover insurance and we just enjoyed our vacation!
